Progress review meeting held with Local Authority officials

Under the Provincial Specific Development Grant for the year 2025, several tourism development projects are being implemented with the support of Local Authorities. A progress review meeting with Secretaries and Technical Officers of Local Authorities was held under the Chairmanship of the Secretary to the Ministry of Local Government Mr.A.Sothinathan on 23rd April 2025 at the Skills Development Centre, Kaithady. Chairman of the Northern Province Tourism Bureau Mr.A.Pathinathan, Director Planning of the Office of the Deputy Chief Secretary – Planning Mr.K.K.Sivachandran, Director of Tourism Bureau Mr.G.Lokanathan, Director Planning of the Ministry of Local Government Mr.S.Sivapala, Assistant Commissioners of Local Government of Local Government Department, Kilinochchi, Mannar and Vavuniya districts also participated at the meeting.
