Traditional food fiesta and cultural events organized to mark the World Tourism Day 2024

Tourism Bureau of Northern Province has organized several events to mark World Tourism Day in 2024. Food festival which celebrating local cuisine offer more than just a chance to indulge in delicious authentic dishes. They also provide a unique opportunity to learn about making them and its significance.  A Traditional Food Fiesta was organized for three days from 14th December 2024 at Muttraveli area near Pannai. Twenty stalls were put up at the site and several authentic food makers prepared different varieties of food items which attracted several hundreds of food lovers, daily. During evening time, several traditional dancing and musical programmes were staged which also attracted huge number of visitors to the venue.
