Experience of best practices shared between Ruhunu Tourist Bureau and Northern Province Tourism Bureau

On the invitation of Ruhunu Tourist Bureau, staff of Northern Province Tourism Bureau visited to Southern Province to attend several events. On 13th October 2024, a discussion was held between the staff of Ruhunu Tourist Bureau and Northern Tourism Bureau at Holuwagoda River Park. On 14th October 2024, experience sharing session was held at Ruhunu Tourist Bureau. Managing Director of Ruhunu Tourist Bureau Mr.Heman Dharmapriya chaired the meeting. Staff from both Tourism Bureaus shared their experiences in implementing tourism projects. Then site visits made to Galle Fort, Galle Lighthouse area, Unawattuna beach and surrounding areas. During these visits, the arrangements to carryout tourism related services were explained by Ruhunu Tourist Bureau staffs.
