The underground tunnel of Kerudavil (Mandapakadu)

Several underground tunnels are found in the limestone belt area of Kerudavil. This underground hall like structure has entrances on four sides and spreads out for over 12 miles. One can watch during the rainy season water flowing through the underground tunnels and entering the sea. According to people of the area there are number of similar hall like structures in the sub – terranean surface of this area.
