Puthur Nagathampiran Kovil

It is a God Shiva temple, believed to be worshipped, and importantly guarded by Cobra’s. On the full moon days many devotees from all part of Northern region gather at this temple and offer milk rice prepared in the temple courtyard. From Vavuniya bus stand - A9 route to Omantai - Puliyankulam and turn left travel through an inner road 1.8 km to Puthur Nagathampiran kovil. It is in the Vavuniya North DS Division.
