Palavi tank

A pious Hindu did not have any children. He prayed to God Shiva, and had a bath in the Palavi tank with the belief that his wife would give birth to a child. His prayer was answered and his wife gave birth to two sons for Mahavatuvadda. Therefore the tank is of much significance and people believe that they would have children when they have a bath in the tank with a prayerful disposition. It is a sacred pond indeed.
