Murukandy Pillaiyar Kovil

This temple is dedicated to God Vinayagar. The people traveling this highway stop at this temple and worship God Vinayakar for betterment of their journey. During the British period, while road construction work was in progress, found there was non-stop water resource close to this temple. It is located along A9 route between Killinochchi and Kokavil. It is in the Oddusuttan DS Division.
