Iranamadu tank

Iranamadu tank is the second largest water reservoir in Northern Province. Catchment area is 588 sq km and the storage capacity is around 100 million cubic meters. It has the capacity to irrigate more than 8,500 Ha land. From Kilinochchi town about 10 km southwards on A9 route. It is in the Kilinochchi town DS division.
