Career guidance programme on Tourism and Hospitality sectors held in Mannar and Madhu zone schools

Tourism Bureau of Northern Province has taken steps to organize awareness programmes in schools which are having O/L and A/L classes in all five districts of the province to disseminate information regarding further education and job opportunities in Tourism and hospitality sectors. On 25th July 2024, this programme was conducted in Mn/Adampan Mathiya Maha Vidyalayam, Mn/Andankulam RCT Maha Vidyalayam and Mn/Thalvupadu St.Joseph’s College. More than one hundred students in each school were participated at the programme. During this awareness programme, potential courses offered in universities and training institutes in Sri Lanka and important jobs available in tourism and hospitality industries were highlighted to the students. Mrs.Niranjala Alex Lecturer at the SLITHM Jaffna participated as the Resource Person and done the presentation.
