Muneshwaran Temple

This shrine is also called Muniappar kovil of the Fort. This temple is situated to the East of the Dutch Fort in the esplanade. Daily three Poojas are held. Annual high festivals are also held. The significant tree of this temple is the Bo tree (Arasamaram).
