Katkulam Palanimalai Murukan Kovil

This Murugan temple is located at a height of 200 meters in the Sithamparapuram village in the Vavuniya District. It is said to be the Eelathu Palani Murugan temple. To reach this temple a person needs to climb 400 steps from the road level. In this mountain you find herbs which are rarely found in other places. During the annual festival period the devotees use to come to this temple walking a long distance. From Vavuniya take A9 route to Thaandikulam junction then take Vappankulam road to Palani Murukan kovil.
