Identification of potential development activities at Mullaithivu beach held

A preliminary discussion was held on 07th February 2024 from 10.00am onwards at Mullaithivu beach area to identify potential development requirements, with the participation of Mr.V.Ayakulan - Director of Northern Province Tourism Bureau, Mr.S.Jesinthan - Assistant Commissioner of Local Government – Mullaithivu, Secretary to the Maritimepattu Pradeshiya Sabha and officials from District Secretariat – Mullaithivu, Tourism Bureau of Northern Province and Maritimepattu Pradeshiya Sabha.

The team identified some immediate needs of the beach area to provide better services to the visiting tourists and also discussed regarding tourism activities which could be implemented in the beach area to attract more tourists.
