Discussion to prepare Lord Shiva Spiritual Trail held

As per the instruction of the Hon. Governor of Northern Province, the Chairman of the Tourism Bureau of Northern Province Mr.A.Pathinathan convened a meeting with scholars and officials to prepare a document regarding Lord Shiva spiritual trail, held on 14th February 2024 at 10.00am at the Hon.Governor’s Secretariat, Jaffna.

Prof.N.Shanmugalingan – Former Vice Chancellor of University of Jaffna, Prof.S.Krishnarajah, Dr.Mrs.M.Shanmugathas, Prof.S.Sivesan, Dr.P.Chandrasegaram, Mr.L.Ilangovan - Senior Additional Secretary to the Presidential Secretariat, Mr.A.Umamaheswaran - District Secretary of Mullaithivu, Mr.M.Nanthagopalan - Secretary to the Hon. Governor, Mr.V.Aayakulan - Director of Tourism Bureau, Mrs.N.Laghini - Provincial Deputy Director of Cultural Affairs and relevant officials participated at the meeting.

It has been decided to appoint a committee comprising the participants to prepare the document within a short period and also decided to provide required support to the committee by the Tourism Bureau and Department of Cultural Affairs of NP and other relevant institutions.
