Career guidance programme on Tourism and Hospitality sectors held in Kilinochchi district

In order to provide information on tourism and hospitality sectors, Tourism Bureau of Northern Province has taken steps to organize awareness programmes in schools which are having O/L and A/L classes in all five districts of the province. On 11th June 2024, this programme was conducted in Tharmapuram Central College and Kilinochchi Hindu College in Kilinochchi districts. More than two hundred students in each school participated at the programme. During this awareness programme, potential courses offered in universities and training institutes in Sri Lanka and important jobs available in tourism and hospitality industries were highlighted to the students. Mr.M.Muhunthan Visiting Lecturer at the University College of Jaffna participated as the Resource Person and did the presentation.
